State Football

This years games were some of the most entertaining in the last 5 years. I have been to the games in the last 5 years and it wasn't very often that games were even moderately close. This year well over half were within 10 points.

Northern State Game Attendance

This attendance is great for a smaller school. Rutland is a smaller school and we seem to have a relatively large turnout for most games as well. Dedication of fans is very important for a sports program.

I personally take advantage of both Black Friday and Cyber Monday to get some good deals on computer parts and accessories. Many people get bargain deals on these days.

Rancher Life

Cleanup of the dead livestock is finished up out west. After two months of work all of the dead are almost all carried off of the pastures.

Rancher Relief

More work is being done to help out ranchers out west. More money being raised by ranchers in Mobridge through auctions and donations will greatly help out the west river ranchers.

I think that the idea behind Obamacare would be very helpful to some and very hurtful to others. And of course the ones that it hurts will speak out more so it will be shown as unsuccessful no matter what. If people don't want the government insurance they are not forced to get it. But what it could do is change that persons current policy so that it is on par with government regulations for insurance. If government run healthcare becomes mandatory then there will be a bigger problem for many people.

Farmers near Hartford came together to help out a neighbor in need. This year tragedy has managed to bring farmers closer together in the local area.

Harvest Slow Down

The precipitation early in the week slowed farmers dramatically and harvest is behind where it should be this time of year. Warmer weather towards the end of the week should allow many farmers back into the field for work.
