Hard Driving Cleaning

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/how-to-sanitize-your-game-systems-hard-drive/?id=157655

This is a very big issue because identity theft is a growing problem. This applies to me because I do a lot of computer stuff and identity protection is a big problem in technology.

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/as-snow-hits-western-sd-officials-send-out-safe-driving-reminder/?id=157657

This is great news for snowmobilers heading to the hills. I am super excited for a great storm in the hills for when we going snowmobiling out there in 2 weeks.

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/wbk-jackrabbits-on-win-streak/?id=157636

Both the men and women Jacks are starting off the season with some big wins. The women are undefeated and are headed on the road for their next game. The men of SDSU are hitting the road for their next five games as well.

Homosexuality and the Catholic Church

http://ncronline.org/news/politics/church-was-not-out-marketed

This editorial talks about how the Catholic church has been going about gay marriage all wrong. I to a point agree but from a completely different standpoint. I think that the Catholic Church accepting homosexuality as "OK" is completely wrong. Some say that homosexuality is just another sin, equal to all sins. I completely disagree, I have read in the bible where it says that homosexuality is a "perversion". This is completely different from a sin. A perversion immediately condemns you. It is more than a sin  and cannot be forgiven and just the thought of the Catholic Church allowing this really brings disgrace to the religion.

Open trails in the Hills

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/snowmobile-trails-open-sunday-in-black-hills/?id=157330

The trails in the hills are used for four-wheelers in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter. These trails are used for trailer riders, transportation, as well as paths to get from mountain to mountain for off trail riders.

Black Hills Burnings

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/prescribed-burns-planned-to-enhance-sd-elk-habitat/?id=157333

These proposed burns could potentially expand the elk population and allow it to thrive more steadily. The burns will also help other species such as deer and wild turkeys thrive as well.

Missing From Science Class

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/11/opinion/too-few-girls-and-minorities-study-tech-subjects.html?ref=editorials&_r=0

This editorial talks about how minorities and women are becoming left out from the fields of science and math. Adding more women and minorities to this field could advance this workforce greatly in the future by adding more diversity. Being able to see anything from many different stand points is crucial. I think that there should be more women and minorities in these positions because this nation is supposed to be equal opportunity and if these groups dont have that opportunity that is taking away from them.

Rancher Relief Continues

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/sd-ranchers-embrace-needed-livestock-donations/?id=156752

Al that is left is the recovery from the October blizzard. Ranchers are receiving help from ranchers across 10 states. The help that is given is greatly appreciated by those who lost such a high percentage of their herd. Granted the numbers can never realistically be replaced but the help given is a great start to helping ranchers build their herds back up.

Daily Pledge

http://www.keloland.com/newsdetail.cfm/sd-school-boards-group-supporting-daily-pledge/?id=156926

I like this idea except for the fact that the some people have changed the pledge to take "Under God" out of it. If the students recite the original I think that would be great but coming from a religious background if they left that out I think it would be insulting. The general idea is great for children to keep faith in their country.
